My Story

My journey to becoming a counsellor started long ago when I received counselling myself. I didn't realise it at the time, but this experience planted the seed for my future career. After pursuing a different field, I found that I wasn't achieving the personal fulfillment I needed and in 2021, I began my formal training with Iron Mill College. I am proud to be a fully-fledged practitioner, registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).

With a person-centered foundation and an integrated approach, my work is client-led, ensuring that each individual's unique needs are met.  My approach incorporates gestalt, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness therapy, and I always work with empathy and honesty.

As a psychotherapist, I am dedicated to helping my clients achieve their mental health goals. My practice offers both in-person sessions in Exeter and online therapy options for those who prefer virtual counseling.

I have some financial concessions for those who can't afford counselling - please get in touch to find out more.

Personally, I love to read, cook (and eat!) vegan food and enjoy going to gigs and festivals with my family and friends.  I love spending time outdoors in the summer, whether that's on Dartmoor or in my garden.  In the winter, I am happiest on the sofa with a cup of tea and a book!
